The Luxe Luminations Limited Warranty

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers the lighting system we installed — the fixtures, channel, controllers, power supplies, and wiring — against defects in materials and workmanship. It covers the product failing on its own. It does not cover the product being damaged by something or someone else.

It does not cover your home network, internet service, router, or mobile devices, or the ability of an app to reach the system through them. Loss of app control caused by a network change is not a product defect. Your lights continue running on their programmed schedule regardless.

Who's Covered

This warranty covers the original purchaser at the original installation address. It is not transferable.

Year One — Full Coverage

For one (1) year from installation, Luxe Luminations warrants your lighting system against defects in materials and workmanship. If a covered defect occurs, we will repair or replace the affected components — parts and labor included — at no cost to you.

Years Two and Three — Component Coverage

After the first year, and through year three (or 50,000 hours of operation, whichever comes first), we cover replacement parts for defective LEDs and diodes, controller failure, and lens clouding or yellowing. Labor for these replacements is billed at our standard service rate.

Luxe Care Plan members: covered replacement labor is included in your plan.

After Year Three — Continuing Coverage

This warranty ends at year three. Your coverage does not have to. Luxe Care Plan members continue to receive covered parts for product failures, with replacement labor included, for as long as their plan is active. The Care Plan is a separate service agreement rather than an extension of this warranty, and is governed by its own terms. See the Luxe Care Plan.

How to Make a Claim

Contact us within thirty (30) days of discovering an issue at 303.900.LUXE. We may request photos of the affected area to evaluate your claim. Whether a product is defective, and whether the remedy is repair, replacement, or credit, is determined at our reasonable discretion. Replacement parts may be new or factory-refurbished and carry the remainder of the original warranty period.

What's Not Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the system we installed. It does not cover damage or failure from any other cause.

Third parties include, but are not limited to, landscapers, gardeners, lawn and irrigation services, roofers, painters, gutter, solar, and window-cleaning services, pest control, holiday-decorating services, HVAC and utility workers, and any other contractor or service provider working on the property.

Examples of human-caused damage include, but are not limited to:

• Cut, severed, pinched, or dug-up wire
• Ladder, tool, mower, edger, aerator, or equipment contact
• Power washing, painting, or the application of cleaning solutions or chemicals
• Hanging, attaching, or removing decorations, hardware, or holiday lighting
• Impact from vehicles, trailers, or equipment
• Digging, trenching, excavation, or landscaping work
• Roof, gutter, siding, solar, or structural work performed on the property
• Theft, vandalism, or intentional damage
• Neglect, abuse, or misuse

Normal operation of your system is not a human act and remains covered.

Weather and Environment

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

• Acts of God including hail, lightning, ice damming, or winds exceeding 70 mph
• Failure of or damage to the underlying roof, soffit, or structure
• Falling objects or animal damage
• Natural fading, discoloration, or patina from sun and weather exposure
• Algae, fungi, or organic growth
• Gutter, drainage, or settlement issues
• Fire, flood, or other causes beyond our control

Electrical

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by power surges, improper power supply, or connection outside standard household voltage. Your system requires a supply within 108–132 VAC at 60Hz; operation outside that range is not covered and may void the manufacturer's warranty on the components themselves.

What Voids This Warranty in Full

This warranty is void in its entirety if the system is modified, if components not supplied by Luxe Luminations are added to it, or if it is repaired or serviced by anyone other than Luxe Luminations. Component manufacturers apply the same conditions to their own warranties, and we cannot extend coverage past what they provide.

Limits

Except for claims involving personal injury, our total liability under this warranty will not exceed the amount you paid for your lighting system. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use or property damage beyond the system itself. Under Colorado law, this limitation does not apply to claims involving personal injury. No employee or representative may modify the terms of this warranty. To the extent implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability, cannot be disclaimed under Colorado law, they are limited in duration to the express warranty period stated above.

Repairs Outside This Warranty

Damage that isn't covered here is still repairable — we simply quote it first. We'll assess the damage, give you a price, and do the work once you approve it. Luxe Care Plan members receive 10% member pricing on that work.
