Why It Matters

Permanent lighting doesn't fail loudly. It fades.

A hailstone cracks a lens and you never notice, because the diode behind it still works. A connector loosens over a winter of freeze and thaw, and one twelve-foot run goes slightly dimmer than the rest. The controller's clock drifts a few minutes a season until the lights are coming on after dark instead of at dusk.

None of it is dramatic enough to make you pick up the phone. That's the problem. Six years in, the house that used to look intentional looks almost right — and nobody can point to the day it changed.

The Luxe Care Plan exists so that never happens. Every September we go over the entire system, before anything has a chance to compound — and before the season your lighting works hardest.

What's Included

Total peace of mind, every season

01

Built for Colorado

Front Range weather works hard against your home. Hail, snow load, and summer sun take a toll on any exterior system. Every September, we inspect your permanent lighting end to end — checking for storm and hail damage, testing every connection, and confirming your system is performing exactly as it did on day one.

02

Full Parts Coverage

All original parts are covered for any product failures during your plan period. Defective LEDs, controller issues, or lens problems — we handle it. In warranty years two and three, when non-members pay our standard labor rate for a covered replacement, Care Plan members pay nothing for that labor.

03

Holiday Ready, Every Year

Your visit lands in September on purpose. While we're there, we program your holiday scenes with you — Christmas, Halloween, game day, and everything in between — and set the calendar so the seasons change themselves. When the neighbors are untangling cords, your home is already glowing.

04

Priority 48-Hour Response

Your plan doesn't stop after the September visit. If your system goes dark in February — a dead run, a failed controller — Care Plan members move to the front of the line and we're there within 48 hours. If a single section is out and the rest is working, the repair is still covered; we catch it on your next visit.

05

10% Member Pricing

Enjoy 10% off everything we do — expansions, landscape additions, upgrades, replacement parts, labor on any out-of-plan service call, custom scene programming, and any other lighting service. Growing your system, or need something the plan doesn't cover? Your membership pays for itself in savings.

06

We Service Other Systems Too

Already have permanent lighting from another installer? We service that too. Call us for a system evaluation — we'll get it working like new and enroll you in the Care Plan going forward.

The Actual Work

One visit. Eighteen checks.

Not a walk-around and a wave from the driveway. Here is the list our technicians work through, top to bottom, every September.

iTrack, channel & fixtures

  • Clean lenses and diffusers so light output stays true — Front Range dust and pollen cost you brightness long before a diode fails
  • Inspect the full run for hail strikes, cracked lenses, and impact damage
  • Check channel seating, mounting hardware, and fasteners along every eave and soffit line
  • Inspect gaskets and seals at the points where water actually gets in
  • Confirm the track still sits flush after a season of expansion and contraction

iiDiodes & electrical

  • Run every zone through a full color cycle to find dead, dim, and color-shifted diodes — including the ones you'd never catch in a single scene
  • Test connections at each junction and splice point
  • Check the power supply for heat, wear, and correct load
  • Verify voltage across the run so the far end is as bright as the near end
  • Inspect the low-voltage feed line and all exterior penetrations

iiiController & scheduling

  • Update controller firmware to the current release
  • Reset sunset and sunrise timing so the lights come on at dusk, not after it
  • Correct Daylight Saving and seasonal schedule drift
  • Verify every zone is still mapped to the right section of the house

ivHoliday scenes & programming

  • Build or refresh your holiday scenes with you — Christmas, Halloween, game day, birthdays, whatever belongs on the list
  • Set the calendar so the seasons change themselves and you never open the app in December
  • Confirm every programmed scene fires correctly before we leave
  • Walk the exterior with you to sign off on the look before the season starts

Before we leave, you get a written summary of what we checked, what we fixed, and anything worth keeping an eye on. No mystery invoices, and no wondering whether we actually showed up.

How It Works

Four steps, and three of them are ours

01

Enroll

Join online or over the phone. We pull your install record, confirm your system's linear footage, and add you to the September service calendar.

02

System Evaluation

Only if we didn't install your system. We come out first to document what's on the house, test the full run, and establish a known-good baseline. Anything already broken gets quoted for your approval before we touch it.

03

Your September Visit

We work the full eighteen-point list — track, diodes, connections, controller, schedule — make any repairs covered by your plan, and program your holiday scenes with you. Written summary before we leave.

04

Priority All Year

System goes dark in February? Text us — we're there within 48 hours. One section out? Covered too, and we catch it on your next visit.

Why Homeowners Enroll

Backed, not just installed

Every Luxe installation carries a 3-year limited warranty — full parts and labor in year one, parts only in years two and three (or 50,000 hours, whichever comes first). The Care Plan is what covers the labor on those year-two and year-three replacements, and adds the annual service visit and priority response the warranty doesn't include. Read the full warranty.

Questions

Before you enroll

Every September, before the holiday season begins. One visit covers everything — the full 18-point system inspection, any repairs covered by your plan, and your holiday scene programming. We schedule it with you in late summer. September is deliberate: late enough to catch whatever the summer did to your system, early enough that everything is right before the months your lighting works hardest. Your priority 48-hour system-down response runs the other eleven months.

Yes. Before your first September visit we come out for an evaluation — we document what's on the house, test the full run, and bring the system to a known-good baseline. If we find pre-existing damage, we quote that separately and you approve it before we do any work.

An 18-point inspection plus programming. Lens and diffuser cleaning, a full-run inspection for hail and impact damage, channel and mounting hardware checks, gasket and seal inspection, a full color-cycle test of every diode, connection and voltage testing, power supply checks, controller firmware updates, schedule and zone verification, and building or refreshing your holiday scenes with you. You receive a written summary of everything we checked before we leave.

It depends on whether your whole system is down or a single section is out. If your system goes dark — a dead run, a failed controller, no response at all — Luxe Care Plan members get priority scheduling and we're on site within 48 hours, any time of year. If one section is out and the rest of your system is still working, the repair is covered at no charge and we fold it into the next time we're working in your area. That keeps the 48-hour response genuinely fast for the homes that need it. Non-members are scheduled in the order calls come in.

$449 per year for systems up to 150 linear feet, and $1.50 per foot beyond that. We confirm your exact footage from your install record before you enroll, so you know the number before you pay it. Members also get 10% off everything we do all year — parts, labor, programming, upgrades, and any other lighting service.

The warranty covers defects. The Care Plan covers the upkeep. Every Luxe installation carries a 3-year limited warranty, with full parts and labor in year one. In years two and three (or 50,000 hours, whichever comes first) the warranty covers replacement parts, but labor is billed at our standard service rate — unless you're a Care Plan member, in which case that labor is included. After year three, when the warranty has ended, the Care Plan is what keeps your parts and labor covered. Neither one is insurance: weather and impact damage sit outside both. The Care Plan also adds the annual September service visit, holiday scene programming, and priority 48-hour system-down response, none of which the warranty provides. Read the full warranty terms.

Yes. All original parts are covered for product failures during your plan period — defective LEDs, controller issues, or lens problems — and covered replacement labor is included. Damage from weather events, impact, roof or gutter work, or a third party working on the house isn't a product failure and is quoted separately. The full exclusion list is in our warranty terms.

The lights themselves last years. What needs attention is everything around them: connections that loosen through freeze-thaw cycles, lenses that dim under dust and pollen, and controller clocks that drift out of sync with sunset. None of it announces itself, which is exactly why it's worth a scheduled visit.

Yes. The Luxe Care Plan is available throughout our service area, including Castle Pines, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Lone Tree, Parker, Cherry Hills Village, Littleton, Roxborough, Sedalia, Greenwood Village, and Aspen. Outside that list? Ask — we travel for the right project.

What the Plan Covers

One annual September service visit. Priority 48-hour on-site response, for the full plan year, any time your system goes down — a dead or dim run, controller failure, or loss of function across the system. If a single section fails while the rest of your system is working, the repair is covered at no charge and is scheduled into the next time we are working in your area. The plan also covers all original system components — defective LEDs, controller issues, and lens problems — for manufacturer defects and normal product failure during your plan period. Labor for covered replacements is included, including replacements made under the limited warranty in years two and three. Report any issue within 30 days of noticing it. The plan covers one system at one address.

What It Doesn't

The Care Plan covers manufacturing defects and normal product failure. It is a maintenance and service plan, not an insurance policy.

Human-caused damage is not covered. That means damage from any human act other than installation or service performed by Luxe Luminations — whether by you, a member of your household, a guest, or any third party, including but not limited to landscapers, gardeners, roofers, painters, gutter, solar, pest control, window-cleaning or holiday-decorating services, other contractors, and utility workers. Examples include cut or severed wire, ladder or equipment contact, pressure washing, painting, cleaning chemicals, hanging or removing decorations, vehicle impact, digging or excavation, theft, and vandalism. Normal operation of your system is not a human act and remains covered.

Weather and environmental damage is not covered — hail, lightning, ice damming, or winds exceeding 70 mph; failure of the underlying roof, soffit, or structure; falling objects or animal damage; power surges, improper power supply, or voltage outside the manufacturer's stated range; natural fading, discoloration, or patina; algae, fungi, or organic growth; and gutter, drainage, or settlement issues.

Landscape and accent lighting is not covered by this plan — it is serviced and quoted independently, at member pricing.

Network and connectivity issues are not covered — connecting or reconnecting the system to your Wi-Fi, changes to your router, network name, or password, phone or app troubleshooting, or loss of app control caused by anything outside the lighting system itself. Your lights continue running on their programmed schedule regardless.

Coverage ends if the system is modified, repaired or serviced by anyone other than Luxe Luminations, or has components added that we did not supply. The plan is not transferable, and covers one system for the original purchaser at the original installation address.

Repairs falling outside plan coverage are quoted for your approval before any work begins, and members receive 10% member pricing on that work. The complete exclusion list is in our limited warranty.
