Everything you need to know about permanent outdoor lighting — answered honestly.
Most residential installations are completed in a single day. The exact timeline depends on the size of your home and the scope of your design plan. We'll give you a specific estimate after your site evaluation.
The tracks and LEDs are designed to stay year-round, but they can be removed if needed — for roof replacement, painting, or selling the home. Many homeowners find the added value of permanent lighting is a selling point rather than a reason to remove it.
Yes. Every Luxe system is specified for Front Range conditions. Our LED nodes, tracks, and wiring are rated for extended outdoor exposure. Our annual Care Plan inspection also checks specifically for hail and weather damage each fall.
We use a commercial-grade smart lighting app that lets you set schedules, choose from 16 million colors, create scenes, and control every zone independently. We do a full walkthrough at install and don't consider the job done until you're comfortable with every feature.
You control the schedule entirely through the app. Most homeowners set lights to turn on at sunset and off at a set time — 11pm or midnight is common. You can also set them to dimmer levels late at night to save energy.
Yes. From full color mode you can change to any of 16 million colors instantly from the app — orange and blue for a Broncos game, red and green for Christmas, purple for Halloween. You can also save preset scenes to switch between with one tap.
LEDs have extremely long lifespans — typically 50,000+ hours. If a node fails, your warranty covers parts replacement in years 1-3. Care Plan members also have labor covered. Simply contact us and we'll be there within 48 hours.
Our 3-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, with full parts-and-labor coverage in year one and parts coverage in years two and three. Care Plan members extend that protection with covered labor throughout their membership.
Installed correctly, no. Our precision track system is designed to integrate cleanly with your home's exterior without damaging rooflines, gutters, or soffit. We've completed hundreds of installations without a single structural issue.
Every property is unique, so we provide custom quotes after a site evaluation. A typical Highlands Ranch home runs between $3,500 and $8,000 depending on linear footage. Financing is available through Acorn Finance from $127/month.
Yes. With a single transformer upgrade — no rewiring — your existing low-voltage landscape lighting gains app control, automatic sunset scheduling, and independent zones. Ask us about a retrofit evaluation even if we didn't install your original system.
We primarily serve Castle Pines, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Lone Tree, Parker, Cherry Hills Village, Littleton, Roxborough, Sedalia, Greenwood Village, and surrounding areas. We also travel for the right project — including Aspen and mountain communities. Call to discuss.
Yes. Every Luxe system lives in the same app and works together. One tap sets a scene across your entire property — roofline, landscape, patio. Dinner party, holiday, game day, or simply home.
Yes — we offer a free, no-obligation on-site or virtual consultation. We'll walk your property, discuss your goals, and provide a detailed quote at no charge.
Yes — We can show you a live demo panel and/or a photo-realistic rendering of your home with the lights on before you commit to installation.
Our systems require very little maintenance. We recommend an annual check to clean fixtures, confirm connections, and test the app/controller. Consider an extended warranty for yearly maintenance checks and peace of mind.
Permanent lighting is a professionally installed LED track system mounted along your roofline, soffit, or architectural features. It's app-controlled, so you can change colors and patterns for any holiday, event, or everyday use — no more hanging or taking down lights.
No — the low-profile track is color-matched to your home's trim or soffit, so it blends in and is nearly invisible during the day. At night, it comes to life.
Absolutely — beyond holidays, our system works great for everyday accent lighting, security lighting, game days, birthdays, and any occasion you want to celebrate.
No — Our insured installation team handles the entire process, including all wiring and connections. There's nothing extra for you to arrange. The system is low voltage which reduces much of the risk and keeps electrical costs to a minimum.
Yes — We install for homes, storefronts, restaurants, offices, and other commercial and HOA properties.
Outdoor lighting improves curb appeal, increases the value and highlights your home's best architectural and landscape features, increases nighttime safety and security, and extends how you can use and enjoy your outdoor space after dark.
Every installation is custom-designed for your home. During your consultation, we'll walk your property, discuss the look you want, and tailor fixture placement, track color, and lighting effects to your goals and budget.
Our systems are built to be weatherproof and rated for outdoor use year-round, including the intense Colorado range of heat/cold/rain/snow.
We'll help you balance branding, visibility, and ambiance based on your business type and hours — from eye-catching color displays for car dealerships, churches, restaurants and retail to steady, secure lighting for offices and storefronts.
We do — everything from design through installation is handled by us, using our own commercial-grade lighting system and materials. You don't need to source or purchase anything separately.
You own your system outright after installation — it's a one-time investment, not a rental or subscription.
Unlike store-bought string lights or DIY kits, our system is professionally designed and installed, built with commercial-grade weatherproof materials, backed by a warranty, and fully customizable from your phone — with none of the ladders, tangled cords, yearly re-installs and possible hospital visits.
Yes — we carry full general liability insurance, and can provide proof of insurance upon request.
We only install our own professional-grade, warrantied lighting system to ensure safety, reliability, and long-term support. We're happy to discuss removing any existing third-party lights as part of your installation.
Yes — you can start with the front of your home (or any section) and add more later. This is a great way to spread out the investment while still enjoying your new lighting right away.
Very little — each LED draws a fraction of a watt. Running a typical system for several hours a night costs only a few dollars a month in electricity.
Yes — our LED system uses significantly less energy than traditional incandescent holiday lights, and you control brightness and run-time directly from the app.
No problem — we have multiple track and mounting options to fit almost any roofline or structure, including flat surfaces, fascia, and parapet walls. We'll find the right fit during your consultation.
We specialize in permanent, app-controlled LED lighting installation for residential and commercial properties.
Yes — and it works for more than just neighbors. Refer a friend and earn $1 per foot installed. We also partner with trades, real estate professionals, and HOA & community leaders, each with their own rewards — cash, credit, or preferred pricing.
No — our system plugs into an existing standard outlet, so there's no disruption to your home's power. Installation is clean and non-invasive.
You don't need to be present for the entire installation, but we do ask that you're available at the end so we can walk you through the app and confirm everything is set up the way you want.
